Café on ADHD and Gender: Call for questions

February 22, 2011 by cihrcafeblog

Why are so many more boys diagnosed with ADHD? Should boys and girls with ADHD be treated the same or do they have unique needs based on their sex? You probably have your own questions about gender and ADHD. You can still get them answered, even if you can’t attend the Cafe. Just submit your question to this blog. We will do our best to post as many responses as possible a few days after the event.

Dr. Joy Johnson, Scientific Director of CIHR’s Institute of Gender and Health, will moderate the Café. Dr. Johnson shared this comment:

“We’re thrilled to be hosting this Café Scientifique. We have an excellent group of speakers and we’re expecting a very engaging discussion. I want to thank all those who have already submitted comments to this blog, and I look forward to meeting people at the Mount Pleasant Neighborhood House on Wednesday!”
